Here we aim to help Local Meetings care well for the responsibilities entrusted to them as part of our shared life as a charity.
The questionnaires are intended to support reflection and good practice across the main areas of governance, including finance, property, health and safety, data protection and employment. They are designed to be proportionate and help Meetings be confident that matters are in good order, and to highlight where support may be helpful.
Meetings are asked to begin with a short baseline questionnaire, which helps indicate which further returns may be relevant:

Some Meetings will then be asked to complete additional questionnaires, for example where they hold funds, care for a Meeting House, or employ staff:
The information shared helps trustees carry their responsibilities, and supports a collective understanding of where things are going well and where attention may be needed. It is also a way of ensuring that no Meeting feels they are carrying these responsibilities alone.
